Hello,
Yesterday Doug was sleepy all day and not feeling well so they had him come in for fluids. On the way there his eyes started to act funny and he was having trouble with his vision. When we got in they checked his blood sugar and it was 351. So they admitted him in hopes to get it regulated. At last check it was down to 175. They say with the steroids and the T.P.N.( IV food) that is what is causing him to be hypoglycemic. They will have to control it since he has to be on the steroids. They are keeping him in for one more day to help regulate it .He also is having some blood count issues which they are not sure why. The bone marrow biopsy came back ok but they are waiting on the rest of those results. Praise the Lord no Leukemic cells have shown up on the first results. This is good. Thank-you for the prayers.
Love to all,
Kelly
