Hello,
Today was a very good day. We had lunch with the sheriff at a ASIS luncheon where Doug received a Law Enforcement Outstanding Performance Award. There were three other awards handed out. He received this for his Chaplin work with the officers. I am very proud of him so I thought I could brag on him a bit. He loves his officers very much and enjoys working with them. We thank the Lord that Doug was able to have the strength to attend. He is resting now. He goes in the morning and will get some platelets and blood work done.

- On February 6, 2008 I was diagnosed with Acute pre-cursor B-Cell Lynphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). I spent most of 2008 in and out of the hospital receiving chemo treatments and was told I was in remission in July 2008. On March 10, 2009 my Doctor advised me that my ALL had relapsed. We are now involved in that part of the journey.
