God's mercy,love and grace are amazing. One week ago tomorrow it looked like God was going to take my sweet Doug home to be with him. So many people prayed( some of you have never met Doug or our family) all of you ask God to leave him here and God answered that prayer. Today I am sitting here talking to my wonderful husband and in a very soft raspy voice he is talking back. What a wonderful God we serve.What the doctors can't do God does!!!!! We are so thankful to all of you and so humbled by the love you all have should us we are so undeserving.
The doctors are telling me that Doug is slowly improving and that he has a long road ahead of him. The infection in his lungs is very slowly going away. this will take weeks for it to be gone. They are in hopes that as the lungs improve so will the kidneys. Because he was on the vent for so long his body is really weak and they sad it takes about 5to7 days for your strength to come back for every day you are laying there. This for someone who did not have the weakness that Doug had coming into this. I am waiting to see God prove them wrong and see Doug healed at a much faster rate then they could ever believe. We serve a great and mighty God!!!
