Day+52

Hello,
Well we went to the doctors today for his Monday visit and it was not a very good visit. He has lost four more pounds and he is at the point where they are concerned about his weight loss. He is eating well so that is not the problem. The problem is the GVHD viruses that is in his gut. The viruses is not bad enough for them to go to the next level of treatment because of the risk involved there. So they are still playing around with his meds to find the best combo. If he is not able to gain weight soon they will have to go to a feeding tube or IV feeding these are steps we pray do not have to happen. I know many are already praying and we do thank-you all. If I could ask for specific prayers for this GVHD to go away and that he is able to gain weight. We have been so blessed through all of this that he has had little to no problems. We just ask for God to continue to watch over Doug as we still have a long road ahead. Our Lord is the Great Physician and he will heal him we just have to continue to ask so please help us in that. We go back on Thursday and we will know more then.
