Dear Ones,
I want you to know that Doug has taken a drastic "turn for the worse." After coming into the hospital Wednesday with trouble breathing, he has continued to get worse. Late this afternoon, his lungs were filling up with fluid, his kidneys worsed (from an already bad condition), his heart was stressed with some fluid surrounding it, and his blood pressure had dropped. An emergency procedure was done to remove the fluid around the heart, in hopes of seeing the blood pressure "bounce back." It failed to bring the expected result. With his kidneys not working and low blood pressure keeping it impossible to do dialysis, toxins are taking their toll.
The doctors called me in (together with my pastor and his wife) to say they have done all they know to do. Bottom Line: unless God intervenes, Doug will not make it. Family has come/is coming in. We are praying for God's will to be done; Doug is in His hands. Please pray with us and for us.
Kelly

ReplyDeleteTell Uncle Dougie that I love him and I hope he will get through this. I know Im not close to him, but he is still part of my family. Tell him to be strong and no matter what happens he will be in good hands.
ReplyDeleteJust said a prayer for Doug a few moments ago, and passed on a prayer request to a good buddy of mine and asked him to pass on to his friends he goes to church with in San Diego.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't decide, Kel. So one goes on here and the other of FB. :o) Love you.
