Well Doug has been home for a week now and things are going ok. His strength is very slowly coming back. We went to the doctor yesterday and the cough doug came home with is getting worse so they put him on antibiotics. We are at the stage now where we are very conserned with Doug's healing. We had talked with our doctor while Doug was in the hospital and together with him decided when Doug got home to concentrate on Doug's recovery. The time between Doug's Oct. and Dec. Hospitalizations where very busy for Doug .They constantly had him in and out of appointments with very little time to rest and recover. So this time we are going to slow down and only chase the symptoms that are most detrimental to Doug's health. We are hoping by doing this with the prayers of all of you and the mercy from our Lord that Doug can make a full recovery. That is our prayer. Doug's body is weak and brittle, his counts are doing well at this time(Thank you Lord). His lungs were damaged and his heart weaken from this last hospital stay. He has a long road ahead but we have the Lord and many many people praying.
I would like to thank all of you for your kindness and faithfulness. We have receive many calls,e-mails,cards and acts of kindness over the last few weeks. Many of you do not know us yet faithfully pray for us thank you and may God give you a special blessing. May God bless you all.
Love,
Kelly

You are all, always in my prayers. Your strength and faith are inspirational. God has given many blessings in the past few months, and we are all truly blessed to have the Taylor family in our lives!
ReplyDeleteWe will most definitely be praying for Doug (and his family) as he struggles down the road of recovery. God is still good...all the time. Knowing Him is a comfort in itself and we know that all things work together for good...and we know that Doug loves his Lord and Savior...Doug has and is an inspiration to Mark and I and many others. We love you all and will be praying!
