Today before going to the GI doctor we got a call from the PA and she said that the c-dif test that they did on Friday came back positive. C-dif is a virus that you get when you are on high dose antibiotics and or a compromised immune system. Doug has both so I guess that made him a good candidate. They put him on more antibiotics to cure it ,how that works don't ask me.
Our appointment with the GI Doctor left us kinda confused. They are trying things that have already been tried but I guess they might work this time. I am so thankful that God is really the one in control. I will update after our Doctor appointment tomorrow.

- On February 6, 2008 I was diagnosed with Acute pre-cursor B-Cell Lynphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). I spent most of 2008 in and out of the hospital receiving chemo treatments and was told I was in remission in July 2008. On March 10, 2009 my Doctor advised me that my ALL had relapsed. We are now involved in that part of the journey.
Did they put him on Flagil? That is an anti-infective and not anti-biotic, which should help the GI tract get back in balance. I think you and I Kelly will be able to get our MD degree before long. Love you, Marilee
