With the good comes the bad,it has been a roller coaster ride this morning. I stayed here last night and he had a good night very relaxed, I ran home about 6am and was back by 8am and he breathing on CPAP which means he is still on the vent but he is doing all the breathing and the vent is just helping him take deeper breaths. They were wanting him to try and get off the vent today but the x-ray came back and showed more fluid on his lungs so they are leaving it in another day and changing some heart meds. They are trying to keep him off of sedation which means he is aware of what is going on and easily agitated. My job is to keep him calm so Iwatch the numbers and when they start to go up I talk him through it. It is working very well. Everything is day by day. I did get a smile out of him today and the nurse got the angry face when she took off a bandage.His wonderful blue eyes have been showing themselves alot today. Just keep all those prayers coming. I will keep the updates coming. God is good All the time and he is doing something great.
