Update

Hello to all,
Praise the Lord Doug is still at home. This morning Doug woke up and felt horrible and said Kel something is not right with my body. He has gotten to know his body very well and that worried me cause I thought for sure we were headed back to the hospital. I called the doctor and ask if we could come in early we were already scheduled for blood work at 11:45 so we went in at 9:30.
We saw Dr. Bud instead of our doctor, he said that this is how Doug's body is going to react to the chemo this round. He gave him a bag of I.V. fluids and said he might be coming down with something but he is already on four antibiotics. We will see him on Friday for another blood work and possible treatment. We just have to watch for fever as his counts are beginning to drop. Well after getting the fluids he has felt a lot better and is beginning to eat everything in the kitchen. Which after losing 10 plus pounds and not eating for three days I am glad to see.
Thank-you all for your faithful prayers, we all will get a victory when this is done.
Love to all,
Kelly

  2. Heavenly Father I lift Doug and his family up to you. Your Word tells us that you knew us while we were still in our mothers womb. You also said we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I pray for your child and those who love him so that you would give them a peace and strength that would be renewed. That you would touch the body of your servant Doug to bring about a full and complete healing. Your Word promises that they that wait upon the Lord SHALL renew their strength, they SHALL mount up on wings as eagles, they SHALL run and not be weary, the SHALL walk and not faint. Father we accept SHALL as an imperative, not a suggestion and claim YOUR strength for Doug and his family; in JESUS name, Amen.
